BATAVIA — There will only be one contested race in Genesee County when voters in the city of Batavia and several towns head to the polls Nov. 8. That will be in the town of Darien, in which Democrat Michelle Krzemien and Republican David Overhoff are running for the town justice position last held by Gary Graber, who retired effective July 1 after more than 40 years of service.
The two candidates are running for a four-year term. Voting will be from noon to 9 p.m. at the Town Hall.
