Senior running back Gio Zeman ran 19 times for 121 yards and a touchdown in Yorkville’s 17-6 Class 7A quarterfinal playoff loss to Batavia. Zeman missed the second half of the previous week’s playoff win over Moline due to injury.

Senior linebacker Jack Sadowsky, an Iowa State recruit, had nine tackles, three for loss, an interception and blocked field goal in Batavia’s win over Yorkville.
