A Genesee County grand jury has indicted a Batavia man accused of sexually assaulting a delivery driver.
Jeffrey D. Hall, 38, is charged with one count of first-degree sexual abuse.
He is accused of forcing a 63-year-old delivery driver to touch his intimate parts on May 24. The alleged abuse happened just before midnight at a residence on Ross Street.
Other indictments filed by the grand jury:
n Ledeja K. Wright, 31, of Batavia is charged with second-degree burglary, third-degree criminal mischief and third-degree criminal tampering.
She is accused of entering a house on Holland Avenue June 15 and damaging a television and stereo.
n Joseph D. Krug, 27, of Victor is charged with fourth-degree grand larceny for allegedly stealing from a local business. Krug has charged pending in several other counties, including Monroe for a home invasion.
n Jamie M. Cyr, 40, of Batavia is charged with first-degree promoting prison contraband for having Suboxone at Genesee County Jail in April.
n John J. Saddler Jr., 34, of Batavia is charged with aggravated family offense and second-degree criminal contempt of court.
n Todd A. Kendall, 60, of Batavia is charged with failure to verify as a sex offender by not providing a current photograph of himself.
Kendall is a Level 2 violent sexual offender on the state registry. He was convicted in 2006 of sexually assaulting a 6-year-old child and was sentenced to a mere six months in jail and 10 years probation.
n John C. Hoogasian, no age or address available, was charged with third-degree grand larceny for stealing a pickup truck from a residence in Elba. He also is charged with bail jumping for failing to appear in court.
n Arthur J. Brown, 46, of Batavia is charged with failing to register a change of address as a sex offender. Brown is a Level 3, the highest level, on the state registry. He was convicted in 2006 of raping a 15-year-old child and was sentenced to 18 months to three years in state prison.
